Play House Rainbow Building Brick Wall
Play houses are such a great addition to yards as they encourage lots of role play and collaboration. We had the crazy idea to add some Peel 'n Stick Baseplates to a play house in order to create a rainbow building brick wall. Kids love being able to get creative with their building bricks in a new and novel place. We especially love the bright and inviting rainbow effect!
DIY LEGO Compatible Picnic Table
Kids love long afternoons outside playing, but often they need time to sit and relax as well. We turned a kids' picnic table into a building brick creation station with the addition of some Tan Peel 'n Stick Baseplate panels. We love how this project encourages collaborative building, with the panels placed in the middle and within easy reach of all builders, young and old! There's even still room for the all important snacks and juice!
This is one of the cheapest ways to make a building brick foundation for your kiddo. Simply Peel 'n Stick one baseplate onto a $2 IKEA SMULA tray! As the pictures show, these play trays are compatible with Mega Bloks, DUPLOs and LEGOs. Perfect for kids of all ages to enjoy!
Building Brick Play Tray & Storage Box
Another affordable IKEA hack we showed you a few months back was the bed tray and storage box combo using our Pink and Purple Peel 'n Stick Baseplates. These are ideal for setting up on a picnic blanket, either separately or together.
His & Hers LEGO Compatible Containers
These cute little building brick containers are perfect for filling with LEGOs and taking outside. Whether you set them up on a blanket, find a shady spot under a tree, or perch on some steps, they are sure to encourage creative play.
DIY DUPLO Compatible Carry Case
If you've got younger builders, this DUPLO Compatible Carry Case is perfect for encouraging some outdoors creativity. Encouraging younger children to play with building bricks is great for supporting their creativity and fine motor skill development. It is made using our larger size Peel 'n Stick Baseplates which are specifically designed for a perfect fit with larger DUPLO-style bricks.
These cute little portable building boards are an affordable IKEA tablet tray hack. They are ideal for encouraging vertical building, and best of all they are super easy to move around for building anywhere! Why not take them outside and get comfy building on a picnic blanket?
