DIY DUPLO Compatible Table

Have you got a keen little builder at home? Be their hero and make this DIY DUPLO Compatible Table using the $24.99 IKEA LATT Children's Table. No glue required!!

Materials Needed:

• Creative QT Peel 'n Stick Baseplates compatible with DUPLO, green, 2-pack 10" x 20" ($29.99)
• IKEA LATT Children's Table, comes with 2 chairs ($24.99)
• TROFAST storage box, large orange ($4)
• DUPLOs
• Sharp craft or utility knife (we used this one)
• Craft mat or chopping board

Instructions:

This DIY project can be completed in less than 15 minutes! As the video shows, cutting and attaching the baseplates is an easy process. There's lots of different ways to store DUPLOs but for this table we decided to keep things cheap and easy by using a large IKEA storage box.

This table is the perfect set up for encouraging STEAM based activities, as well as collaborative play. Whether it is engineering vehicles or buildings, your kids will love having a base upon which to express their creativity and imagination.

Organizing your building bricks will help to make the most of your family play time, as well as avoiding all those brick-related foot injuries! A simple $4 storage box helps to contain the clutter, and it can be easily stored under the table.
