Did you know that pumpkin decorating stickers and dry erase markers are the perfect way to add a spook-factor to your kids' monster brick builds?! Here's a great little activity to enjoy as a family over the Halloween period.
This is so quick and easy to set up, but the creative possibilities are endless! Spend time together building bright and bold monsters with the Mega Bloks. Your kids will love the STEM nature of this task! We chose to use Mega Bloks as we had large stickers to use, plus our youngest builder is only 18 months old so larger bricks helped to include her! You can use DUPLOs or LEGOs to build the monsters as well.
Once the monsters are built, enjoy getting creative with the dry erase markers and stickers to add features and spooky details.
We were amazed at just how much our kids loved getting to add details to their creations!
Oh and Dad got pretty caught up in animating his monster too!
You'll be impressed at the fun role play that stems from such a simple activity!
Even younger members of the family can join in with the building and we guarantee they won't shy away from pretending to be a monster!
Would your kiddos love this too? Why not give it a go and make some monstrously fun time together!

Creative QT® co-owner, Adam Hinkle, lovingly refers toPixel Bricks™ as 'LEGO™ glitter' because they do seem to have a way of finding their way all over the floor if not properly stored. The good news is, however, we have loads of simple and affordable ways to store them all in this one blog.
